The mini-series "Mom, Dad, Son" will tell the story of a charismatic American businessman (of course, performed by Gere), who built his own media empire. Helen McCrory (known to us for Aunt Polly’s role in Sharp Visors) and Billy Hole (On the Shore) will play along with Richard Gere in a series about the world ruled by politics, the media and the police. The screenwriter was Tom Rob Smith, who wrote the script for the TV drama "American History of Crimes: The Murder of Gianni Versace". “Tom Rob Smith is one of the most outstanding authors of modern times,” says BBC main producer Pierce Venger. “And we are thrilled that Richard, Helen and Billy are perfectly suited to the role of the main characters.” Well, it remains only to wait for the release of the series "Mom, Dad, Son" on small screens to make sure that this is indeed so.
