Lazy dumplings from cottage cheese is one of the dishes that many people loved in childhood and still adore. Sometimes they are also called lazy dumplings orcottage cheese dumplings.

Lazy dumplings


  • 500 g of cottage cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp. l. Sahara
  • 1 tbsp. flour
  • 30 g butter
  • salt (to taste)


  1. Mix all ingredients except flour. Stir thoroughly until smooth.
  2. Add flour and knead the dough.
  3. Roll out the dough into a "sausage" and cut it into small pieces.
  4. Put the pot of water on the fire when it boils, salt it and throw lazy dumplings into the boiling water.
  5. When the lazy dumplings come up, boil their 40 seconds and take out.

Serve the lazydumplings with sour cream, jam, seasonal berries and fruits or butter to choose from.
