BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN | EASY HALLOWEEN MAKEUP TUTORIAL
Easy Halloween Costume Idea: Bride of Frankenstein
If you have extra white curtain panels and long johns around the house, collect them to create a chic Bride of Frankenstein costume for your little one.
1.For wig base, measure and cut 8x28-inch piece of posterboard; wrap around child's head, over ears, to measure fit. Overlap and glue ends together.
2.Glue fiberfill hair over base.
3.Cut two zigzag strips of white paper; using spray adhesive, attach to wig. Spray-paint entire wig black; let dry. Remove zigzag paper strips.
4.Cut curtain in half crosswise, making one piece about 4 inches shorter than the other. Cut jagged edges along bottoms of both pieces.
5.With longer piece on top, layer these pieces and fold in half crosswise. Cut hole in center of folded edge, large enough for child's head, to make gown.
6.Dress child in long johns, socks and shoes. Place gown on child.
7.Drape gauze from one shoulder to the other, then down front of gown. Using jagged curtain strips, tie gown at each shoulder to form gathers.
8.Tie additional pieces of gauze to shoulder ties so they drape along gown, and use a strip of gauze to belt gown.
